Born in Oklahoma City and having spent the last 14 years in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, T-Spoon’s vivid storytelling depicts his life and personal experiences through his music. “It’s blue-collar from beginning to end. My struggles, my highlights, from partying to eulogies…its still Dirty South!” This is apparent on the album, from the energizing hard beats and lyrics of ‘Say I Won’t" and ‘Hood Starr’ to the gentle and sentimental realisms of family love & loss on ‘My Kinfolk’ and ‘Sista Soulja’.
After a brief stint with Dallas based CKB Entertainment, it was time for a re-evaluation. Producing and working with some of Dallas’ and Okc’s top underground artists, most notably; Swagga Jonez fka Budha, Ozaphide, TakeOff, Teddy BlueEyez and up & coming super producers Darnell Twine, Addiction Down, Bryson Price and Boogieman Datre’, the move to re-establish his brand only made good business sense. Furthering his own shine and grind, T-SPOON aka NAP is ready to make some noise and feels that his label will allow him to have more control over the message and image that he wants the world to know and see.
With a swag fueled by a ‘hustlaz’ ambition, T-Spoon will no doubt be one of the year’s top newcomers.
